Summer fun!

Summer is in full swing at our house - I got to go swimming for the first time today! Mommy took me over to grandma and grandpa Banovic's a few days ago to try out the pool. I had fun just putting my feet in with grandpa but wasn't too sure about getting in all the way.

Here I am waving to the camera - waving is one of my favorite things to do these days! I'll wave to real people, or even people in pictures or on tv!

But today mommy and daddy decided to put me all the way in the pool and I ended up liking it!

First we tried out this float...

but I didn't like that too much so grandpa held me for a while.

Then I tried the other float with mom...

I even had some fun splashing! I know it kinda looks like I'm upset here but I really was having fun! :)

Then I decided again that I just wanted to be held. I finally kept my had on too!

And headed home.

What a fun day! All of that water, sun, and fresh air really wore me out cause when I came home I took a 2 1/2 hour nap! I think that's a first - usually mom's lucky if I sleep more than an hour!

We're gearing up for my first birthday in 9 days so stay tuned for birthday pictures! Mom also learned how to make Korker bows and tutus yesterday so she may try a photo shoot tomorrow. She let me check out the tutu today but it didn't go so well. Mommy thinks it looks adorable but I wasn't too sure. Hopefully I'll at least put it on for mommy! We'll see.....
